How to conquer days that have troubles, trials, and temptations plagued throughout them.

Troubles and trials, we do not like them often for various reasons from causing us issues and headaches to leaving us down and depressed. We will have many troubles and issues throughout our lives, tempting us one way ort another, wanting us to stray away from God and what he has in store for us. We know that through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior dying for us that we are and can be forgiven. God knows that we are only human, thus he still loves us and desires the most intimate relationship with us, and like a good parent, he will not let us be tempted beyond our means. We know that through test and trials that God is right with us walking the path of fire with us in order to keep us safe and from any other harm that may come about. He will guide us and help us avoid traps if we listen to him and remember the wisdom through his word; this is all to ensure that we have the best possible life that he has for us.

God will often test us with a temptation that if we fail can often lead us into a trap that we never intended to end up in, often praying to him to ask for help and guidance. People can will try to lay out traps for you to fall into, and most times not having wisdom will lead into a trap. An adulterous women can and will trap men who are not wise enough and will fall for her because of lust and other means, this can be a test to see how strong you are in faith and then failing because of the temptation. When things start to fell off or like a trap, pray to Jesus and ask for guidance through the Holy Spirit in order to avoid such traps and temptations. We may face temptation through a test that God is putting us through to see if we will deny ourselves and help others in need.

It can be as simple as buying someone food or giving them the $5 bill in your wallet, when we want to help someone it should be from compassion and love. Helping someone for the fame and public recognition is not what God desires, Jesus said ” Do not let your right hand know what your left hand is doing.” Helping others can be in the public, but do not let it be for public applause for what God sees you do in private he will bless you in private. You may gain criticism for this, criticism comes from anyone and for anything. We are told that the world will hate us because if hated Jesus first, thus since we are his children it will try to kick us out in order to preserve its sinful nature. You can’t avoid criticism unless you do nothing and even still then you will be criticized for doing nothing. Helping others should be to show others that we are children of God and to help them with needs of their own while helping our hearts be loving and full of compassion.

The temptations of the world will try to settle in especially when we are feeling down and low, God promises that he will not let anything tempt us beyond what we can handle. The world will try to tempt to us and we may slip from time to time because we are too weak to hand le the weight. That’s when you go to God and ask him in prayer for the strength in order to overcome the temptation that is against us in order to fall into possibly a trap and then to pass the test. A lot of temptations can and will come from our fleshly desires of self-satisfaction like sexual immorality, witchcraft and so on. One is especially of idolatry, our hearts can idols out of anyone and anything, ask God to keep your heart clean and free from these temptations asking the Holy Spirit to stay within you and keep you from such things. God will never leave us nor forsake us, so if you mess up in any of these and you are genuinely trying to steer clear from sin, he is faithful to forgive you.

God knows that we are only human which is why the bible is more of a compass to a life with him and less of strict rules put in place. All of these things we will face in life at one time or another, we need him in order to help us in order to stay on track and finish this race we are running. Put your trust in him and allow him to transform you from the inside out and allow him to let his Spirit dwell within you. Know everything will be okay because God is in control and that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior died for us. We will never be perfect so he died so we can be forgiven for when we do mess up. May God bless you and help through life with the trials, tests, temptations, and traps you may encounter, steering you away from them to keep you safe, Amen!
