Being honest with God in our relationship with him with telling him what is on our hearts.

In relationships with whomever, and especially with God, we all expect honesty and sincerity to come from all parties involved. Relationships are supposed to be between people with honesty and complete openness full of communication in order to solve problems that may arise. Love covers everything, it covers bad things, lies, and sin that we might have committed as long as you are truthful and honest about you did and are trying to better yourself. We must be honest in order to sustain a relationship since it is one of the bigger things of communication, not being honest can result in something disastrous happening the relationship. God our heavenly Father also just wants an honest relationship with his and him, telling him what is on our hearts regardless of what it is.

He desires to give us a good and peaceful life with the support of others and most importantly, him as we rely on his understanding and strength to as we go about our life. God knows we cannot do this life alone and that we need him, however, he wont help us if we do not ask him to help us. He does not force himself into our lives like the world and the enemy do, more or less they break into our hearts and start to ravage through our things and hurting us. We must allow God in and ask him for his help in order to see what we were missing without him to allow him to change our hearts, minds, and lives around. He desire that we bring to him everything that we have, our worries, desires, doubts about things and him, anxiety, and our plans. He wants us to be with him always, and in order to do that, we must drop everything we hold onto in order to hold onto him and allow him to guide us trusting that he knows what he is doing. We may not see it immediately for months or years, but he is always doing something either in the background or visibly in front of you.

Regardless of either, we keep speaking to him in prayer during the stormy seasons of our life knowing that he hears us. He may not respond to us immediately as well or give us a clear answer for what is happening and why, but know this, everything has a reason whether we see it or not. It might be rejection, pain, a demotion, or many other things, these could be tests to see if you will remain faithful or God has bigger things in mind for you. We must keep our eyes on Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior because if not, we will focus on the storm and lose faith and start to sink like Peter did. Keep your eyes focused on Jesus and he will guide you and you will walk on water in order to get to where you need to be while the storm is happening. In the midst of the storm, your emotions might start to change and feelings toward God, we might get upset, frustrated, or angry at him.

When these things happen, bring them to God for he wants to take them from you and relieve you of their weight. Bring them to him for he has already seen what is in your heart and just wants you to give it to him. Speaking from the heart is how we communicate with him, not from our mind or flesh, from The Holy Spirit and releasing what is in our hearts in order for them be renewed. The storm might be God’s way of preparing you for exactly what you need to do, it might to ensure that you remember that you need him while getting rid of self-pride. God will bless you with what you desire and what he needs to bless you with once he can trust you and your heart to go against him in any way. So, bring everything to him and let him sort it out and clear out any sinful thing in your mind, soul, heart, and spirit; do this and let him instill himself and his will for your life in their place.

Trust God with the prayers you have spoken to him and keep asking for them, not rambling, but keep knocking and the door will open. Trust him with your dreams that you have and God has given you knowing that he might be getting you ready for exactly what he has in store. It might seem bad right now, however, he will show you why you had to wait so long and why he brought you through the storm. Do not give up on the dreams that God has given and has promised that you will see, have faith in him and know that the storm is for a reason. “Every storm eventually runs out of rain”, do not give up if it be 3 months or 3 years, it all has a purpose. Trust God with everything and know he has plan and things will be Okay, Amen!
