How enjoy a lifetime of favor while looking ahead into our future.

Lifetime of favor, we would like that, from having things go the way we expected it to having things we desire and being blessed our whole lives. We can normally prepare for things, and we are also often asked what we look forward to in the future from employers and friends to see where our mind is. When asked 10 or even 5 years out of where we see ourselves, we can think that’s a long way until it feels like tomorrow and those years were yesterday. Those years are filled with ups or downs, favor from God and then the struggles that come with the favors as blessings and struggles come hand in hand. We are used to instant things now from food, gratification, messaging, and so one that we do not look toward the larger and bigger picture that Jesus has for us. We want him to move now and no slower, yet his fixated on the bigger picture, taking his time to teach us and prepare us for the lifetime of favor and then struggles we have with him.

You may be asking how God’s favor could last a lifetime when you are feeling down or sad and as if he is upset, angry, and displeased with you. The answer is that he gives us struggles in order to strengthen our faith, we can rest assured because of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior dying for us that God’s anger toward us only lasts for a moment. God is not one to remember our sins when we actively and sincerely ask for the forgiveness when we act out sinfully here on earth. If we are sincere and try our best, asking him for help and strength, he will forgive us forgetting the sin while helping us become more righteous. As we look back to the trials and tests, and I can say this as well, we can see God’s greatness and favor through it and how he helped us and taught us lessons that then gave us wisdom in the time we are in now. God is faithful that he hears our prayers and those especially of help and despair that he will help us through showing us his favor and love for our lives making us whole in him and righteous the be like him.

God’s gives us tests in order to help us strengthen our faith in order to show us favor, and yet he will never give you a test that you are not strong enough to handle. If you are feeling like he has given you one to strong for you, ask him to help you and know that he has already completed and fought these test and battles for you in order for you to live eternally with him. God is concerned about the eternal home for our souls, wishing that we may not get hurt and that we live with him for eternity as to not perish to hell. What you see as a moment of his anger or horrible test could be his favor ensuring that you are strong enough for what you are praying for and what he has in store for you. As his children, he does want to give us gifts as any other parent wants to, however, he must teach us and prepare us for what we are asking for in order to enjoy it properly.

Would you as a parent give your 5-year-old a car that they cannot use or enjoy because they are not ready? Of course not, and God is the same way, wanting us to enjoy what he has given us and use it properly for the Kingdom. Again, we cannot use it properly or enjoy it if we are not prepared, so these tests are his favor in order to obtain the knowledge and wisdom for the greater blessing. If you have been praying for a business idea to come to through, he might put you through a season of leadership training, training others, and proper financial management. If you have been praying for a spouse, he might put you through a season of taking care of others – like family – showing proper love and forgiving others. This isn’t to delay your blessings, he has already seen how long it will take you to learn, it is to prepare you in order to enjoy said blessings. It wouldn’t be love if he just gave it to you whenever and however, that would ruin it and you would grow cold toward him.

Now, God may give you what you want when you want it, in order to use it as a lesson to show you that you have more to learn before he fully gives it to you watch video below). Everything God does will turn out for your good and if you think he is taking forever for something to happen, he is fixed on the eternal and not the now. God is focused on our souls and hearts before anything, if he gave you someone to love and you don’t know how to love, that would only ruin it. God has always been focused on the bigger things, even from Jesus’ birth showing us that anyone can go to him since he was born to a poor family with a sinful background. This shows us that you don’t have to be someone in order to be known by Jesus, you just have to be you and faithful. So, in order to experience his lifelong blessing and favor, allow him to help you through and show you why things are happening. Things might be happening for you to help others or be part of a bigger story, trust him always and entirely. May God bless you and keep you, Amen!
