Fulfilling the calling and will of The Lord placed on our lives
We all desire a life full of adventures, blessings, and many other things and not a life that we look back on and say “what did I do?” We want the life that was meaningful to people and to us and not left saying later on “there has to be more, what did I miss?” There is more to this life and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior does say there is way more to our life then small an daily things. We are told to produce yields from 30x to 100x more than what was given to us in order to accomplish the will of the Father in Heaven. However, in order to fulfill this great feat of yield, we must have a close and intimate relationship with God in order to find out what he wants us to do.
In order to accomplish an intimate relationship with God, we must first humble ourselves and realize that yes, we do need him for anything and everything. Humility is key since it shows that we know he is ruler above all and we are his children and that we also serve him in order to accomplish his will. Doing this leads to intimacy that he desires all of us to have with him, since we realize we need and that he is our father, we will open up to him and allow him to take control. Since we can call him our father, we can call each other brothers and sisters within the body of Christ helping each other when needed. Since is our father, he desires us to open up to him like we would to a close friend or relative, telling him our issues and concerns and giving them to him. In this time he will also instruct you in what to do at that moment while also giving you comfort in your hardest times for he never leaves us.
With this intimate relationship, we are to plant our spiritual roots in him and deeply. Doing so will ensure our stability in him when the storms of life inevitably hit us and so stronger than others. These roots will help us stay connected to the one who will get you through and complete the promises he has told you, these roots help you stay connected to the one who created you. Through praying, reading, and having your thoughts your spiritual roots are grown in him allowing you to weather out the storm you are facing. Do not let the lies of the world get into your mind and eventually in to your heart making it corrupt leaving behind God and going for the world. We must guard what our heart consumes in order to stay strong in God, this world will try to entice you back into it for it does not recognize God, only its own self-pride.
Keeping your heart strong in the storm and guarding it with God’s love and faith as you shield, you will weather out the storm of life in are facing. Do not let the worries of life, the lies, and when people try to offer power and money to you get to your heart and push out God and eventually your roots in him. Guard it with the shield and faith we have knowing that he will protect you and also support you through the storm. One way of guarding your heart is making sure what you think, do, see, and hear is pure, uplifting, and good for your soul. We have to keep a pure heart in order to demonstrate what God’s children are like along with ensuring that we have the strong roots we need.
Purity comes in many ways and forms from making sure we eat healthy, do not watch or hear horrible and worldly things, and the thoughts we have. One major form of purity is always forgiving those who wrong or persecute us regardless if we think they deserve the forgiveness or not. We must have a forgiving heart in order to be forgiven by God and in order to enjoy the blessings he has for us and the plan on our life. You cannot be elevated to where God wants you to be if you have unforgiveness weighing you down the whole time. Forgive others and seek forgiveness for yourself and watch what happens to your heart as it becomes able to love more and more with the unforgiveness being taken out.
In the end of our life, we all want to look back and say we left an impact of some sort to at least someone. Right now you might be thinking about ways in which you can make your life more than it currently is in order to do said thing. Seek Jesus, seek an intimate relationship with him and he will guide you to do The Lord’s will on your life in order to do just that. While also doing this, remember to stay humble, forgive people with a pure heart, guard you heart, and grow your roots in him with this new intimacy with him. The intimacy he desires is that we recognize that we are his children no matter your age, run to him like a child and know he will take care of you. Also, remember that he has everything under control so everything will be Okay, Amen!
