God will exact his right and proper judgement as the fair judge and God he is.

In life, we all seek just and sound judgement for the actions our ourselves and others no matter what we did or what they did. Often times, this judgement can be misleading, wrong, and unjustly with the corrupt world we live in with justice being perverted and people taking bribes. When the accused is thrown at the iron bars and is now waiting for their verdict, innocent or not, they are undoubtedly wanting to be found innocent and not found guilty. This can lead to fear and no faith in the justice system and in the juror’s and judge’s verdict, which is how so many people are found innocent after already serving time in prison for a crime they didn’t commit. The only person that knows the truth and the lies for things as these is God alone, who sees all and is the right judge who will exact his verdict on everyone come judgement day. People think of God’s judgement in the wrong way most times thinking it will lead to insurrections and a lot of violence when in reality, that is what happens when we ignore it and pervert it in many ways.

We are called to bless though who persecute us and do not fight evil with evil but with love, doing what Jesus our Lord and Savior called us to do which is to “love you enemies.” When we do this, we are leaving the judgement in God’s hands and trusting that in due time, he will judge people accordingly and with that amount that he sees fit for he is the fair judge of everyone and everything. We as believers can be confident that God will guide us and take justice in his own hands when people wrong us as we forgive them and leave the judging to God. Practicing this non-violence response, something the world would tell you not to do but to go to violence, requires the belief and discipline to know that God’s divine judgement will come upon those who wrong us as we forgive them. May we pray for them and ask God to forgive them as well, yes we can, however, it is up to him on whether or not he will do any sort of punishment as we pray for them and intercede on their behalf. We must always trust God through Jesus for the proper judgement everywhere because we, as Christians, will face adversity in this world; we have to have a strong foundation when these things come to pass us.

When we face these adversities, we will have to have a strong foundation on Christ himself knowing that he will get us through, turning the other cheek, and knowing he is in control. We are told numerous times to build our house’s foundation on him as our rock and not on sand, when we build on him we will be okay. If you build on the loose sand, the storm, challenges, and adversities of life will knock you down since you don’t have Christ as your firm foundation. We are told to also put his true and just words and command into action, taking inventory of ourselves, and living out the life he needs us to live with him as our guide, protector, and provider. We are to rely, call, and build upon him knowing that when anything happens he will be right there helping us through these storms with the faith we have built upon him. Build everything upon him, your faith, desires, prayer, priorities, etc. and everything else will be added to you in due time knowing that he will provide and protect you; the God and creator of the universe caring for you and protecting you with his loving hand and guidance to the life he wants you to live.

The Lord cares for his righteous people to the point that if he had found any single righteous person in a town full of sin, despair, and arrogant people, he would have saved it just for them. God will lead his people to safety as he exacts his just judgement on the crooked, cruel, and children of the enemy and will make sure his children are safe and far away from it. We see in Sodom and Gamora that Lot and his family – excluding his son in laws – were told to leave the town quickly before God rained fire on it to destroy it, and then we see his wife being turned into pillar after looking back. When God delivers us from ungodly people from an ungodly environment, do not run back to them and long for your old ways of sinning and being an enemy of God. Doing so will may cause you to fall back into sin and then once more become an enemy of God, now making you a potential subject to his judgement that he exact of this world.

When we sin, we are told to repent back to God and not to think he can’t use us still in anyway. As we are shown throughout the WHOLE bible, the only perfect person was Jesus, everyone else was with sin and had sinned before, during, and after their purpose for God. So, in the end, God will be just to you and to everyone else depending on what we did and did not do for people and for his Kingdom. Do not think your sin disqualifies you as being able to be used by God, instead, turn to him, repent, ask for forgiveness, and let him now guide you. Not a single person, other than Jesus, is, was, or every will be perfect in any way, shape, or form. If they do say they are sinless and perfect, they are lying, arrogant, foolish, and avoid them for they cannot see their sins. Trust God, for the whole bible shows how he used sinners and people with little faith and helped them grow in faith and in what he needed them to do. God can use anyone to anything, remember, he used one person to bless everyone and turned this one person – Abraham – into a great nation. Turn to God, trust him, and know everything will be Okay, knowing that he can use sinners because Jesus took the wrath and judgement meant for us upon himself, and know he is in control. AMEN!!!!!
