The titles that were given to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior when he spent his time on earth.

Titles, titles can be important things when it comes to life often signifying what you have done and who you are as a person. There are both bad and good titles in life, meaning all different kinds of things depending on the context and who is saying it. These can be anything and can be important to whomever obtained them or downright bad and disturbing depending on what they did. None though will be as great and as important as the titles that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior obtained through his life on earth. All of them Mean great things and signify what he was able to accomplish with his 33 years on earth. From Messiah to Son of God, to Savior and Lord, all will have nothing compared to them as long as we live. All of these point to the same person and yet can all have different meanings depending on the context.

Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, has two of titles right in the previous statement, he is our Lord and Savior, being our commander for Lord and our Savior when he took our sins from us by dying on the cross. Jesus is also the bridegroom when we are the bride, rejoicing our us when we turn to him and showing his love to us when he gave everything in order for us to be with him for eternity. Doing this shows us that we prepare ourselves by living righteously for a life of being taken care of by God and living properly out of our love for him and those around us. We can do this by living with Jesus as our rock, as Moses struck a rock and water came out abundantly, Jesus will not let us down and he will stand stronger for us than anyone. Doing this means that we know no matter what, God will be right with us and providing for us perfectly and abundantly when we call upon him. We can expect a life of being taken care by God because Jesus being the Son of Man is also our mediator.

Jesus is our mediator, mediating between us and God because he is God’s son, and covering us with his blood allows us to go to God when we need things in prayer. When we are covered, God sees himself in us, not our past or sins, he sees himself and his love for us. Jesus can be our mediator because he is also our Great High Priest, a priest whose job is to be the mediator between the people and God. We pray to God through Jesus who is also praying for us when we need to do something or need something to change. This means that we do not have to be 100% perfect for Jesus is right there interceding and helping our case in the Throne Room of God when we approach him, we are reminded of this through the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is the Great High Priest because he is Lord and the Wisdom of God, becoming God in flesh he had all the wisdom of God at his command. He is also Lord with the authority overall, authority that he has passed to us and as he said that if we believe in him, we can do what he did and more. We can call upon Jesus for wisdom and he will give it to us generously for he has access to all the wisdom in the universe, and the first step to that is to realize that he is you Lord and Savior and to fear and revere him. Yet, he is the embodiment of love, perfect love drives out fear, so we are to fear him like we would fear our parents. We love our parents, and they love us, we are scared of them, we just do not try to test them and their love and patience. It should be like with God and much more, love him more than anything as he loves us more than we could imagine.

This is only just the beginning of who Jesus is, discover him yourself with the personal relationship he desires to have with you. As you grow more intimate with him, you might develop your own titles and ways of affection with him that is between you two only. One title that he desires us to use to show intimacy is the word ‘Abba’ or father, however, it’s a meaning of total reliance on whom you give that title showing that you need them. God wants us to have that deep intimate relationship with him, so ask him to forgive you and surrender to him, ask him for that relationship that he will give you. May God bless you and keep you safe as you journey along, AMEN!!!!
