Being faithful with the little in order to show God that you can be trusted with the amount he wants to give you later in life.

Faithfulness, a measurement of how faithful you are to someone or something and how far you are willing to go for them. God desires us to have faith in him in order to complete the things and deeds he has for us in life, yes, he can do it himself, however he wants us to be partners with him. It’s by faith that God moves to do miracles in our life and by faith that we show him that we trust him with everything that we have prayed for and by faith that we show him our love, adoration, and worship to him. There are many other things that we also remain faithful in to have a good and long life that God wants to give us. Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior batted down the old ways of living that the pharisees were doing and not remaining faithful in their hearts to God. Remain faithful to God in your heart and acknowledge him your ways and everything will fall in place.

One way they were not remaining faithful was when the Sadducees then asked him about divorce and how that plays out in the kingdom of Heaven. Jesus said that no one should divorce their spouse since what God has put together, let no man separate. He said Mose allowed divorce because of their hard hearts, to remain faithful we must have a heart of wax that melts when we encounter Jesus daily for a refreshment. Doing so helps us to remain faithful to not just him, it helps us remain faithful to those around us whom we have relationships with. Being unfaithful in a marriage and relationship can lead to horrible results, injuring all parties involved normally and more if not, it gets out of control. A lot of people do this very thing, leading to broken marriages, divorces, kids not getting complete attention and love from their parents. The world uses the lie that the grass is greener on the other side in order to get people to commit adultery, this is far from the truth, it’s a lit in order to entice you to break your faithfulness.

Being faithful to God’s calling for us can be hard a lot of the times, from it breaking the government policies and social norms to seemingly making no sense on how it can happen. Yet, we are to remain faithful and know that The Lord will provide for us in the right time and in the right amount as we step out in faith and go after it. Mary and Joseph must have felt the same way; after being told she would get pregnant by the Holy Spirit to have Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. She was a teen girl, about to get married and yet was now told she would be pregnant with a child while not having intercourse in anyway. No one else would have known that though, she could have been kicked out, disgraced, and so on because that was the social norm back then for unfaithful wives. Yet, both her and Joseph remained faithful and did not give up, going to where God called them to go in order to protect them and showed God their faithfulness allowing both of them to be blessed. They were faithful with God’s promise of having a son that would turn out to be the Savior of the world and they did not show unfaithfulness, they kept going where God needed them to go.

We are also called to be faithful with the message of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, just as the shepherds who saw him were. We are called to help others to find him themselves and spread it out to them in order to grow the Kingdom and help others find their way home. Helping others find God is how he might surround you with the community and people that he needs you to have for the life he has planned for you. As you are helping people, God will help you as well, and one way is by a partner that he has planned for you in a marriage. Marriage is a big calling, one that takes time and delicate balancing in order to grow and steward faithfully. 1 person is good, 2 is better, and having God makes it the best it can be, include God in your marriage and the decisions you two make in order to remain faithful and to still spread his message.

Remain faithful to your partner is how God will bless your marriage, do not fall for the adultery the world wants you to go to. Remain faithful to your marriage vows and promises and remain faithful to any promise you make to God, even though we are told to not make promises to God for we might beak them. And be faithful to God because he is always faithful to us, remaining faithful to him is how we show him our love, adoration, and reverence to him knowing that he deserves our worship. God wants to bless us with things we ask for, more importantly though, with the fruits of the Spirit like love, joy, and peace. So be faithful that God will be faithful to what he has promised you and that he will provide for you. May God give you everything that you need and may he protect you and those around you, Amen!
