God rescues our souls and how we respond with faith, love, and reverence to him our Good Heavenly Father.

Rescue, we all need a rescue from something or someone, may it be financial troubles, personal problems or so on. Rescue can come in the form of money for financial issues, a person, or medicine to help us push through. God’s biggest rescue plan is for us to look upon the cross and put our faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior in order to save our souls. This plan included numerous years, centuries, and generations to be fulfilled, yet he fulfilled it, and it is still active to this day. Many people give themselves and surrender to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior daily, showing that God is still at work with this plan. Our response should be on of reverence, love, faith, surrender, and accepting his guidance and plan for our life. We all have things we are supposed to do when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and the biggest one is to love him more than anything. We are to trust God to rescue us and then to love him with our whole mind, body, soul, and Spirit. Trust God to rescue you when you need him and obey him in order to avoid situations that he needs to rescue you from.

Trusting God can seem very difficult when you are facing hardships and battles in life, and he seems absent or not caring about what is happening. We are told to pray to God in times of need and know that he is listening to our prayer and take heart that God is our Refuge, Rock, Strength, and our Rescuer through his strength. God will be there to protect you in your storms with his strength, make him your rock with him being someone more dependable than anyone. God is our refuge and shelter, allowing us to stay under his wings in the grasps of his arms when we are need and have troubles and issues. God is the one who we can bring our hearts to when they are hurt, broken, crying out for relieve, and even when they are full of joy. God will rescue us from affliction and our sins and mistakes, and this is done by Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior whom we have the ability to even speak to God through in the first place. The only thing God asks for is surrender, us surrendering to him and trusting his plan and abilities to get us through.

One way we express our gratitude and thankfulness is through our love for Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We should love him passionately in order to go out and talk to others about his news and spread it across the nations and worlds. Yes, love for others is very important, however, it is from our love of Jesus Christ and his love for us that this love can then overflow to others when we speak and see them. This act of gratitude and thankfulness is what allows us to see other for who they are and through the eyes and lens of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, allowing us to be compassionate toward them. Loving God first is how we then love others and take of those who need help, the love for God is not and outside to inside thing. The love for God and others first has to start from the inside with God working on your heart and making it his home, then it will spread to the outside.

With all of this, we will start to marvel and see his great rescue plan for us and others, from why Jesus died to how and then the appreciation we have. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, we see that everything was placed on him, his death wasn’t for right then and the past, it was for the eternity for time. We aren’t hopeless because his death is a part of God’s rescue plan that is still at work today, never ending or ceasing one bit. So, if you think your past sins disqualify you or that you cannot do this because Jesus’ death doesn’t carry over for now, do not believe that lie. Jesus’ death and resurrection was for all time, taking years, centuries, and generations to come into play, and yet, it still continues for years, centuries, and generations now and forever. Through him being the spotless and blameless lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, we can experience a very close and loving relationship with the one who first loves us. His great rescue plan is still very active today, helping those who just found their faith to fully experience everything that he has for them. Take time to look at this and ask him to help you to in you need it, you might just see a glimpse of how much he loves you as his child.

This rescue plan separates our sins from his forever, as more east is from the west, because of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior did for us on the cross. There is nothing we can to ‘earn’ this, we just have to be faithful, marvel at his plan, and then be loving toward him with everything. It is written that salvation is given freely so that no one person can boast about it, so accept this when you repent. We are promised the Holy Spirit when we get baptized in order to help us in this life and have the strength to accomplish his will for our lives. Remember that his rescue plan is still in effect as long as he lives and his word stands, which is forever. May God help you to save souls and may he protect along the way fulfilling his rescue plan through you as well. May he guide you to help point people toward his son Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, AMEN!!!!
