The denial of our flesh and self in order to live in accordance with God’s will.

In order to live accordingly to how God wants us to live, we must deny the will our body, mind, hearts, and flesh want to accomplish. We all have desires, bad or good, and we must learn how to control them before they control us in order to live a life fulfilling to God’s purpose. We are told that in order to save our souls and lives, we must give up our lives on earth in order to serve The Lord and people who need help the most. This includes denying ourselves in order to help someone, giving someone our time when they need it instead of doing something that we wanted to do, or possibly giving people our finances in order to better help them. In order to do this we have to master time, finances, and our self-discipline in order to live a life pleasing to God.

Mastering these things will help us live a life that is pleasing to The Lord and do what he needs us to do in order to accomplish the tasks at hand. It will not be easy because the flesh and enemy want us to be wild and disregarding of these things ,racking up charges on credit cards and so forth. The world says to live for now because this is your only life, while we know that we have a second life that is eternal that we must save for. We must give our lives to God in order to accomplish the things that he has placed in our lives for the will he has for us to live out. Serving God will not easy for the world will try to persecute and harm us because it cannot recognize us and who we stand for since it is controlled by the devil. Following these things and mastering our lives will help us to fight of the temptations with God standing behind us and giving us the strength and support that we need in order to keep pushing and going.

Serving God is done by many ways, loving God most importantly and that’s done by helping others, loving others including enemies, forgiveness, and supplying for those who cannot help themselves. We can do this everywhere, home, work, school, park, wherever God puts in your mind to go and to reach and preach to those who need help. It can be to friends, family, co-workers, and complete strangers, as long as we do it with a sincere heart. Serving God at work can simply be making your workplace a happier place and allowing those who need help to approach you for said help and guidance; the same thing can be said for a school, public place, and so on. You may not be doing you ‘dream job’, however, you have a job that you are good at and may be God placed you there in order to make a place of joy and openness in order to help people to find their joy through God himself.

Mastering our time is also very important along with finances, we can be easily tempted to a content and lazy life with how much we sit back and relax. This has become easier with technology and we can buy thinsg when we want with credit cards now as well. Do not rest too much for you will lose the time that God has given you and do not but what you do not need in order to save for what God might need it for later on. Having bad debt can ruin our lives and relationships, as we try to seek out easy in order to satisfy the debt that we have incurred. This can lead to having no time as we try to spend as much time making the money possible in order to get rid of debt. This kind of life is not what God had intended for us to have for our souls, it makes us tired, stressed, anxious and so on. Do not incur too much debt that you cannot pay off and do not waste times, yes rest is important but too much rest can lead to disasterious results as well.

In conclusion, we must give up our lives in order to obtain them, do not be afraid of what God has in store for you. What he has in store will be something you enjoy if not more and better than what you could possible dream or imagine of. Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior promised and told us that he will always be right with us in this life, helping us and shaping us into the people he needs us to be. Allow him to show you and help you give you your life in order to obtain the life he has for you. Trust him entirely and allow him to guide you through, may God bless you and keep you, Amen!!!!

Jim Carrey’s advice: “I think everybody should get rich and famous and have everything they ever dreamed of so they can see that that’s not the answer.”
