A Love Letter from the one who first loves us in the form of the bible and what it has as instructions and promises.
Love letters, what a great thing to receive such a gift from someone who loves you and that you love back as well. They show how much you care for each other and just seeing one can make your day, the contents don’t have to be anything special, just the fact you got one can make it wonderful. We all want to experience something similar to this in our lives despite our circumstances, the thing is, we already have such an experience through the bible. The bible is our long and great love note straight from God’s heart and mouth in order to help us to learn his love and the life he has planned for us. The bible is the greatest story that we can every have and the greatest love note given to us with the demonstration of the love God has for us through giving his one and only son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, in order to die for us.
Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, we have the victory over our sins, past, bad names, the enemy, and so much more that we may not know yet. Through this as well, we are invited and adopted into God’s family as his children as; this is shown when people ask Jesus where his mother and brothers are. He responds by saying ” Who are my mother and my brothers? Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.” Following God’s will for our lives makes us part of the family of God and being accepted into the inheritance that he has for us when our time here is done. We are able to embrace the Gospel, the word of God, knowing that it shows God’s love to his people and to those who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Through this adoption that we can minister to those who are lost and who need God as well while standing strong and staying away from the cultural things. Being adopted by God does put a target on your back that the world will try to get you to abandoned God and not follow his ways and will for your life. Ask God to give you the strength in order to fight the culture that we are into not fall back into the sinful ways he has delivered you from. Do what is right, keeping justice clean and not perverted, help the poor and needy, and help those who cannot help themselves. Keep God’s word and his love note to us written on our hearts in order to remember his commandments to help us through this life.
Always remember, God will always make his promises come to fruition, we just need to be patient and wait for them to happen. Yes, we are told to do things as we wait if he needs us to do things, however, wait for his timing and wait for him to tell us when to do something and how to do it. On top of being little love notes, the bible is also the instruction manual to life with the little promises God has for us as his children. Just like a good father and the great Heavenly Father he is, God will make the promises he has made you come to fruition we just need to wait. So, remind yourself through reading, meditating, and praying that God’s love for you is more than you can imagine, and we have constant access to it.
