The character of God and who he is to us and who we are to him.

Realizing who God is and for us is important in order to understand our relationship with him and what he can do for us in our time our need. God is our Father, Lord, Protector, Shield, Healer, and Provider for what we will need in our day-to-day activities. Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior calls for us to not worry about a single thing for our lives, however, to rely on God who sees our needs and desires every minute and every second. Jesus tells us to then bring said needs and desires to God in prayer and petition even though he does know what we will say, he still desires to hear and speak to us personally. When it comes to our relationship, sometimes we can forget who God is and what he is very easily capable of doing in our lives and what he has done. In which cases, remind yourself of the miraculous powers that he has and what he has done for others in the past. If God can raise the dead and make a human from literally nothing other than dirt and through The Holy Spirit make Jesus in Mary’s womb, what can he do for you?

So often we can forget these things and start to worry about what God has planned and how he will bring about his plan in our lives. These worries tend to lead us down as path of internal death and sorrow as we lose focus on him and start to focus on what we see physically. God is not bound and held down by the human standard that we are bound and held down to, he can anything he wants to do and in anyway. Worry will lead our focus off of him and his power that he was able to demonstrate so many times before for others and for us. When we worry, we are using the little strength that we have today to not only carry today’s worries and struggles, but then the future and its worries and struggles. All you are going to do is make yourself mentally, spiritually, and quite possibly physically exhausted from carrying weight that you do not have the strength to carry. We are promised numerous times that Jesus’ presence and power will be with us aways, so give him those worries and struggles, and he will lighten your load significantly.

If you are worrying on how he will provide for and your family, friends, business, etc. do not worry about that either. In the wilderness, God provided Moses and the Israelites with just enough Mana for that day and that is it, they were told to not keep more than needed to try and save it. When we try to keep something longer than needed and save up things, we show God that we don’t really trust him to provide for 100% of what we need. I am not saying do not save money or anything like that, but when it comes down to what you need to do now and then, do not try to save extra when he is telling you to trust him. If you need to get something or want to stockpile something in fear of it going away, only get what you need and what he tells you to buy and trust him for the rest later on when it is required again. The prayer we pray isn’t “Give us this week our weekly bread”, its “Give us this day our daily bread” signifying that we are supposed to ask only for our provisions of that day and that is the max he will provide for right then and that day. May he bless you abundantly? He might, however, seek in prayer for only what you need that day and not for that week, month, or year.

God’s provision is always on time, punctual, and the right amount you need when you need it. It is not more or less unless he says so, even still then, trust him with what you have and that he will lead you properly with it. Through his abilities, presence, and power God will provide for all of us when we need it and how we need it with the right amount. Trust him with what you have and when you need more, ask in prayer and trust that at the right time he will provide for you and what you need. Do not store up more thinking he will not provide more when you need it, ask him daily for his provision and it will be given unto you. Seek him diligently and everything will be added onto you, trust him entirely and know everything will be Okay. May God bless you and keep you, Amen!
