The freedom we have through Jesus dying and the Godly sorrow we get from committing sins.

Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior shuts many doors and opens a whole lot more doors for us. The doors that Jesus shuts are often the doors of deceptions, lies, sins, and harmful things. These doors the devil will decorate as elusive, fun, and ‘not that big of a deal’ while yet we do not see what they are doing to us. Going down to these doors and the paths they lead us to only leads us to death and keeps us in captivity to the enemy and his schemes and tricks he plays with others. People who continue down these roads inevitably end up on the wrong side Heaven since they are slaves to the enemy. However, Jesus made it possible to be set free from these chains and shackles, we just need to believe in what he did and follow his will for us. We have this freedom through Jesus and what he has done for us and what burdens of life he has taken from us.

Through Jesus, we have the freedom to accomplish and do anything we want, although we are told ‘not all things are good for me’. We have this freedom through our faith in him and what he can do for us as long as we follow him wholeheartedly. Through Psalm 20, we are told and promised 6 distinct things that God will do for us, those are to Protect us, Help us, Support us, Accept us, Success in what we desire (if in his will), and then the Victory we have through Jesus Suffering, dying, fighting, then his Resurrection. Through this alone and only we have the freedom we all crave for and the ability to do what God has put on our hearts for the Kingdom advancement. Your calling doesn’t necessarily have to be a calling for leadership or to be a pastor or anything like that, it may be essentially to be a healthcare worker and help those in need. What it may be, we have the freedom and what we do with it also shows who we respect and follow in our lives, the freedom we receive from God is supposed to be one used to worship him.

Our freedom is given to us and meant for us to use to worship God and to marvel and his glory and his majestic self. The entirety of exodus was of that for freedom to worship God and who he is and what he has done for and to us. Every time he tells Moses to tell Pharaoh to release Israel its so that they can “Worship The Lord our God”, our freedom came at the price of Jesus and now the least we can do is to worship him. When you start following God and your sins are revealed, do not leave him and go back to the world for its worldly sorrow, that only leads to death and your destruction. Come back to God with a Godly sorrow and ask him for forgiveness as he leads you to repentance and the changing of your ways and habits. God will always remain faithful to us even we do not remain faithful to him and even when we mess up, go to him and ask for forgiveness immediately and he will give it to you.

Ask God to be with you and to give you strength in order to change your ways, we will never be perfect for there is only one perfect person being Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. So do not put so much pressure on yourself to being 1000% perfect, only be faithful and ask Jesus for the rest of the strength you need. Ask him to fight battles you can’t and allow his love, grace, forgiveness, and freedom flow to and through you for others and yourself to know and realize. Give him your plans and ask him to do what he needs you to do through you. God may have put certain desires in your mind and heart for a reason, ask him to help you to know which is which and to have them come to fruition in due time. Trust God our good Heavenly Father will everything and know everything will be Okay, Amen!
