Three types of victory we will have and can obtain with God, the types of victories that we will have when God leads us and protects us from the world.

Victory is something everyone craves and that this world says to obtain by all means necessary. It could be an argument with a spouse or a physical battle and fight, regardless, we all want to be the victorious one in the end of what is happening. So often though, when we fight with our knowledge and understanding, we lose and end up regretting what we just did. The consequences can be devastating to the relationship we just compromised or the war we are fighting with ourselves or others. We will have three different kind of victories in our life, the first one being victories over our enemies and adversaries. I am not talking about people who you do not like and have beef with, I am talking about people who are actively trying to stop you and/or hunt you down. King David was facing this exact issue, and God delivered him by fighting the battle for him rendering him victorious. It could be people or things at a place or your job that are trying to prevent something from happening for you, give the battles to God and he will fight them all for you.

What the enemy might have planned for your downfall, God will turn around and use for your good for it is written ‘

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose’ From <https://www.biblestudytools.com/romans/8-28.html>. God will bring us to a spacious place, and we must remember to thank him for what he has done for us in the present, past, and what he is has stored in place for us in the future. Give God your circumstances and ask him to fight for you and watch as he changes things around you in order to better accommodate what he has planned for your life. When facing critics, give God these battles as well and do not compromise you heart in order to please them and split yourself amongst two different lives. Do not make a secular life and then a Godly and righteous life, this will not please God or workout, give God your whole life and know that this life has a reason. Who and what we influence does matter and determines how many people come to Heaven and to God in the afterlife.

The world will try to tell you that there is no afterlife, and this is the only life in order to trick into leaving God and following what it wants you to do. Ask God to help you navigate through the lies and seek his truth knowing that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is the way, the truth, and the life. There is an afterlife and what you believer and follow determines where you will end up on judgement day, so ask God to fight this for you and know that you already have the victory. A big part in this is loving God and people as a whole knowing that people still need help and need to hear his encouragement and hope from his children. Love people and God, help those who need it, and seek him for strength will help you in this life to stay on track.

The final victory is victory over our temptations, from Materialism, being generous, loving our enemies, and the biggest being keeping ourselves pure. Materialism can hinder us since we get attached to things and God’s presents and not attached to his presence in our lives. We will want more and more things since the world tells us that we need these things in order to go about our lives. We do not need another vacuum cleaner, our 5th phone this year, or our 3rd car in 5 years. All we need is God and his presence in our lives and watch him connect us to others who are in him as well. We should be helping those who are in need and be generous to people and showing them love and kindness no matter where we are. Showing kindness and love to strangers isn’t where we are told to stop showing love, we are also told to show love to our neighbors and our enemies.

Do not be unforgiving to your enemies or people who wrong them, bless them, and love them like Jesus loves them and show them how to find him. Doing so will ensure a heart free of unforgiveness and will keep you pure in your heart clearing it from worldly desires and temptations. A pure heart is essential since we are told ‘The heart is wicked’ and ‘What comes out of the mouth comes from the heart’. If you heart is dirty, your words and thoughts will also be dirty; ask God to give you a new heart and let him clean it out, your desires and dreams will slowly start to change. In the end, give God the battles you need him to fight, and he asks you to give to him. Allow him to clean you up from head to toe from skin to molecule and watch as he changes things around you. Allow your heart to melt like wax and not harden like cement or clay when his light and presence shine on you. Most importantly know everything will be Okay and have faith in him; may God bless you and keep you, Amen!!!!
