Let God do only what he can do best and you watch him do the rest and work out his purpose in your life

There will be times in life when we want to take control even though we cannot or know we shouldn’t take control of what is happening. Often times this leads us to have anxiety of what is happening or why certain things aren’t happening when we expect them to happen. These are the times when we need to let go and let God take control of what is happening and just let him do what he does best and that is being God. We are told to relax and fall into his arms and let his love overwhelm us while resting in his presence and knowing our salvation is ensured by our faith in him. God is in control and knows all things that we could even think of and do in our lives, he is present constantly with his on us. We are invited into this rest and living with him with the invitation of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior dying for our sins.

Jesus invites us to this walk by believing in him and obeying the instructions of life he gives by his word and how he speaks to us. This invitation is given freely to everyone who will accept it, a life of rest, peace, joy, love, and guidance from the one who knows all things and who created us and loved us first. This invitation is a way to know him and to experience his love, rest, and life that he has in store for us when we just obey him. So many do not accept this because it would mean giving up their sinful ways and desires, something they have grown accustom to love and do. For those who choose to accept Jesus’ yoke and work with him, they will see how life can be peaceful, easy, and light at times. Does this mean everything is going to be easy? No, we will have more easy, restful, and peaceful times, however, we are promised a life of persecution because of the evil in the world that will not want us in it. Either way, God will still workout his purpose for your life no matter what happens to you and when things happen, just watch him.

God will always workout his purpose and will for our lives despite our shortcomings and sins that we may along the way. We are shown throughout the whole bible how God manages to do this with people who are sinful and don’t listen or do the right things 100% of the time. Jacob’s children caused major issues and disappointment throughout their time, but, it lead to establishing the twelve tribes of Israel that lead to the rest of the bible. Through a bloodline of sinners, murders, and prostitutes, we get Jesus being born and then dying for us so we may live with him and the Father in Heaven. We may not know what God is doing right now, however, we can rest in him knowing that he is in control of everything and he will do what is best.

In the end, we will see in hindsight why God makes us wait for certain things or allows certain things to happen to us. We may be confused, upset, angry, or sad at what happened, however, God is still in control and is doing things for a very particular reason in our lives. All we have to do is let him take control and obey and follow him as we live and do what he calls us to do.  So, give him everything, and watch what he can do as you rest in him and let him guide you in this life. Trust him entirely, take the long needed rest that your soul has needed with him its creator, and let him shoe you his love, joy, peace, and tranquility for your life. May he bless you always and Amen!
