In life, we will have experiences where God will show himself to us even after we have done numerous things that we think would make him stay away from us. God will never leave or stray away from us; if we go astray from him either by falling back into sin or thinking we are doing what we need to do for him, God will always be chasing us down. He does this out of his pure love for us because he wants that relationship with us. In Genesis when Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden tree of knowledge of good and evil, he didn’t condemn them, he asked them where they went and when he found them and heard them out, yes he did punish them but out his love for them and to protect them. Yes, we must always obey God and do what he wants us to do however, when we rebel or mess up – because you will – he doesn’t want you to stay far from him but instead to come to him and ask for forgiveness and let his love overwhelm you. God’s goodness will help you through and he will give you the strength and the desire to do what he wants you to do in order to fulfill his will. When you do mess up, do not go blaming other people or circumstances or try to get out of it when it is your fault, just fess up to God, it will make everything go by quicker, easier, and his forgiveness will still overwhelm you making you know he still loves you and to try harder to not mess up again.
Do not get upset or resentful when you see God blessing other people, especially don’t do it to where it makes you mess up what he has blessed the with. Abel did this exact thing with Cain when he The Lord was more pleased with Cain’s first fruit offerings rather than Abel’s offering. This resulted in Able murdering his own brother and then not owning up to it when God asked him what happened to Cain and then God heard his brother’s own blood crying from the ground signifying that he was killed. Do not let Jealousy get in the way of what God wants you to do and then what he wants to do in your life. Like he told Able, just obey his commands and his instructions and he will enable you to have a prosperous and wonderful life.
When God does start to bless other people around, do not lose sight of his goodness and his for you in the process. He may be testing you to see how you will react, if you will react in jealousy or will you patiently endure and wait for the appointed time he has for you with your blessings. Just like the serpent – or the devil – did to Eve in the garden, the devil might try to get you to question God’s goodness and his love for you. He will use the fact that God is blessing other people around as a way to get you to question whether or not God truly loves and if his goodness exists; this territory is dangerous to tread without getting help out of it, you may able to resist for a short time, however, the devil will get to you. If this is the case, ask God for help with these lies and remind yourself of the promises God has made you and then how he keeps his promises throughout and never falls back on them, for it is written that God’s word will not return to him void.
So, when it comes to taking responsibility for your actions, being patient for our blessings, and going to God when we mess up, we must do these things faithfully knowing that he will be right with us. When we mess up and say things we do not to mean to say or we start acting out because of the season of being patient we are in along with trying our hardest to do what he has called us to do; we can be and will be tempted at times to throw in the towel and call it quits. When this time comes, go back to Jesus being our Heavenly Father, Lord and, Savior and ask him to give you the strength, energy, and ability to keep pushing through while taking the battles that aren’t yours to fight. Do no ruin someone or something else because of Jealously, faithfully steward what he has given you and know he will guide and protect you, timing is everything in this life; everything will be Okay, Amen!!!!
